Foucault: the Birth of Power Update 12: Another trip to Paris and submission of the manuscript

IMG_1290 The books are now back on the shelves – OeuvresDits et écrits, the complete set of the Collège de France courses and the beginning of the non-Paris volumes.

I’ve spent most of my time since the last update working on Shakespeare, but I made a trip to Paris in February to do some further work on Foucault.

At Richelieu site I continued working on the manuscripts, moving to boxes 11-16, which appear in the catalogue as ‘Biopolitique (déb. Histoire de la sexualité, Cours)’. As with many of the labels, this is only part accurate. If correct, it would not have a direct relation to the work for Foucault: The Birth of Power, but given the misleading labeling of some of the manuscript boxes so far, I wanted to continue beyond where I imagined the notes relating to the early Collège de France course and Surveiller et punir
